Who we are

Seedling is operated by Keski-Suomen Otto ja Pano Oy (Business ID 2376890-1), Finland, which is the controller for the personal data described in this policy. Contact: support@yourotherai.com.

The recordings you make are your content. For personal data inside recordings, you are the controller and we process it on your behalf (see the Terms).

What we collect and why

• Account data: your email address, sign-in and session records, plan and trial dates, and when you accepted the Terms. Used to run your account (contract).
• Recordings: the videos and thumbnails you record, with titles, length and edits. Stored to provide the service (contract).
• Viewing data: to count unique viewers and tell you when someone watches, we set a random identifier cookie in the viewer's browser and store which video it viewed and when. Legitimate interest in providing view counts and notifications.
• Technical logs: IP addresses and request logs, kept for a short time for security and troubleshooting (legitimate interest).
• Billing data: if you subscribe, Stripe processes your payment. We receive your billing name, address, any tax ID you add, your plan and your invoice history, so we can provide the plan and meet accounting rules (contract and legal obligation). We never see or store your full card number.

We don't sell personal data, and we don't use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. It lasts up to 400 days and renews while you keep using Seedling. We also use the viewer cookie described above. We don't use analytics or advertising cookies.

Service providers

• Cloudflare: hosting of the web app and database. Operates globally; transfers outside the EU rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses.
• Cloud storage provider: stores recordings and thumbnails on servers in the EU.
• Mailgun (Sinch): sending sign-in and notification emails.
• Stripe: payments, invoices and subscription management. Transfers outside the EU rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep data

Recordings are kept until you delete them or your account is closed. Deleted recordings are removed from storage immediately. Accounts without an active subscription may be deleted 90 days after the trial ends, with at least 14 days' notice by email. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction, deletion or a copy of your personal data, and you can object to or ask us to restrict its processing. Email support@yourotherai.com. If you think we've handled your data unlawfully, you can complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
